This will take place on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Patrol Leader Council meeting in STM Cafeteria at 7pm. All patrol leaders, assistant patrol leaders, and troop officers are required to attend.

Congratulations to this year's Helen Pukoszek Award recipients - Mrs. Kresich and Mr. Seydel.  Mrs. Kresich has done an incredible job helping our scouts earn their religious awards over the last couple of years.  Thanks to her constant encouragement and support, 14 scouts from our troop were able to earn the Ad Altare Dei award.  Mr. Seydel is a co-Den Leader for his son's Cub Scout den, but he also helps everyone else in the Pack.  Whenever there's a pack event, Mr. Seydel will be there lending a hand.  Both of our award recipients truly embody the tradition of leadership, self-sacrifice, and Christian values that were exemplefied by Mrs. Pukoszek during her time in scouting.  Please join us in congratulating these worthy award recipients!

The Catholic Committee on Scouting will award our Scoutmaster, Mr. Paul Liszewski, with the St. George Medal.  The medal is awarded for significant and outstanding contributions to the spiritual development of Catholic boys through Scouting.

The award will be presented by Bishop Dale Melczek at a ceremony on Sunday, March 7, 2010, at 2:00 PM in St. Michael's Church in Schererville, Indiana (directions).  All are welcome to attend as Mr. Liszewski receives this high recognition.

Congratulations and thanks to Mr. Liszewski for bringing this honor to our troop and parish.
