Troop 542 guards the Altar of Repose at the Carmelite Monastery on Holy Saturday before Easter — April 15, 2006. The Carmelite Fathers were very greatful to the scouts and scouters who were Honor Guards for the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Holy Saturday. The Fathers, as well as pilgrims, were very impressed with the reverence and professionalism that was demonstrated. At their large Easter Vigil Mass, the Carmelites thanked the scouts for their service. Photos taken by Mrs. Taylor.
